Aceh. Terrible fate befell Agus, a young man from the village Seumanah Jaya, District Ranto Peureulak, East Aceh. Agus presumed dead after being attacked by a crocodile while fishing in the River Krueng Peureulak, Friday (5/12) evening, at approximately 19:30 pm.
Agus did not realize there was a crocodile near the middle of the clearing throughout his fishing equipment. Unexpectedly, the animal pounced on her feet and dragged him into the river.
Not just one, there are still some other crocodile tail trying prey. Agus was screaming for help, but no one dared approach to disappear from sight.
East Aceh police chief, Superintendent Muhajir as confirmed via cell phone there confirmed the incident. He admitted to officers in the field currently looking for bodies.
"It's our last night there crocodile pounce residents, until now (the victim) is not known to exist, now officers are constantly looking for, and have not been able to bodies of victims," said Muhajir, Saturday (6/12).
Meanwhile, Head of the Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA), Genman S Hasibuan said, had received the information, and directly govern the team down to the location for examination and also look for bodies.
"The team has been derived from the conservation hall this morning to check on the location," said Genman.
He said, around March-April 2014 and then actually hall conservation team has ever down to the river to catch the crocodile. But this time for 3 days officers did not find the crocodile.
"It was at the request of the residents have ever we want to catch crocodiles in there, but not visible," he added.
He continued, when the device will allow the village and local residents to be arrested. The plan conservation Hall Aceh will bring all the equipment trap to catch the crocodile. "If it was later asked by the people, we will catch the crocodile," he concluded.
