Marijuana circulation in Indonesia Reached 56.4 Tonnes

             For the year 2014, he continued, reaching 18 788 cases of drug abuse cases, an increase of 7.12 percent from the previous year of 17 539 cases.

Then, the case of psychotropic decreased 52.18 percent from 1,353 cases to 647 cases.

Meanwhile, the use of other harmful substances, also declined to 14.04 percent from 10 089 into a 8673 case.

      "For this type of marijuana, is the most commonly abused substance, it shows a very sharp increase, which is almost 50 times more than the seizure of evidence in 2013 ago, which is an increase of 260.39 percent. Or from the previous year, as many as 15.56 tons to 56.4 tons this year, "he said.

Same thing on the type of methamphetamine narcotics. The increase is quite high from the previous year, ie up to 105.71 percent, or 297.2 kg from the previous year, this year reached 611.26 kg.

      "As for narcotics kind of ecstasy, the trend decreased by 59.82 per cent. From last year's grain 1,002,748.75, being only 402,863.75 grain," he said.

             For a number of the suspect himself, for narcotics cases also increased by 6.62 percent. From earlier in 2013 as many as 23 589 suspects, this year reached 25 151 suspects.
