
Magelang, Central Java. Two boys 3rd grade elementary school (SD) heralds Wacara, Muntilan district drowned in a puddle of mined sand on the banks of Kali , slopes of Merapi, Magelang, Central Java.
Both the boy was Helena Joyce (8) resident of Blangkunan, District Mungkid, Magelang, Central Java and Sherlin Elfareta (8) resident of Muntilan, Central Java.
The events began when two victims with a friend around 14:30 pm, playing on the river of Pabelan for a bath . However fateful allegedly could not swim, they immediately drowned in a puddle of mined sand to a depth of 3 meters it.
Luckily for Nita Aulia (5), who did not join the shower and just waiting on the banks of the river. However, after a long wait for his friend did not immediately emerge from the water, Nita told her mother that her house not far from the crime scene.
Hearing the news of her daughter, who was looking for Paryanti sand manually or often referred to as builders sand making it immediately ran to the scene along with some resident of to search for victims.

"I was shocked when I heard my son ran up to me shouting that two theme kelelep (drowned) while bathing in the former sand mining. Directly I invite people around to look for them both," said Paryanti around the scene Tuesday (9/12 ) this afternoon.
Victims are so found around 15:30 pm, and was in a lifeless condition. By police officers Muntilan police, the two victims died immediately rushed to the Rose Room, Living bodies of Muntilan Hospital and Nita, survivors receive medical care in the Emergency Room Unit (ICU) of the hospital Muntilan, Magelang.
In addition to deep mourning, the family of the victim both boys regretted the mining using heavy equipment along the river of Pabelan flow .
Moreover, after the mined sand, mined leaves many deep puddles and not reclaimed or restored to normal. So that the condition is very dangerous to life, especially children around the River .
"It should've been mine if so (heavy equipment excavator) they (miners) returns or spruce mining so that no danger to our children," said Diana Wulandari mother of one victim.
