           Residents heard the sound of an explosion before the landslide struck villages
        Warga dengar suara ledakan sebelum longsor menerjang desa

             Banjarnegara, Central Java. More than 100 people reportedly lost buried by landslides that occurred in the hamlet Jemblung, Sampang Village, District Karangkobar, Banjarnegara, Central Java, on Friday (12/12) afternoon.

According to a local resident, Johan (30), said she heard an explosion from the direction of the hill Telogo catfish in the area of RW 1 before the landslide.

      "Sounds very strong explosion, after the ground moving from the east side to the west," he said when met at the location, Banjarnegara, Saturday (13/12).

He said, before the avalanche weather was hot, soon followed by rain for an hour. "At that time, a lot of vehicles passing through the road at the bottom of the hill," he said.

            At the same location, the District Commanders Banjarnegara 0704, Lt. Col. Edy Rohmatulloh estimates there are about 108 people buried by landslides.

      "Of these, among those who live on the south side of a hill about 53 heads of families with a number of houses buried about 40 houses," he said.

Avalanche victim search continues. Joint SAR-derived officer has managed to evacuate 12 bodies and 15 people were injured.

           Banjarnegara Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner of Police Wika Hardianto said 12 bodies were found that, one of which was found last night. "While the victims were injured and 15 people have been evacuated to hospital Banjarnegara," he said.

Evacuation of casualties is still hampered by landslides aftershocks. In addition, the material that covers the way around is still not removed.

      "We are still concerned because there is no movement of soil conditions are constantly moving," he explained.
