Robber killed in police siege
              

            LAHAT South Sumatra - Although surrounded members of the Police Lahat, Amran perpetrators of theft and robbery voted against. He attacked the police with a knife, and tried to escape. Because it is considered dangerous and not heed warning shots, the police then shot him to death.

From the information gathered, members of the police has long targeted Lahat Amran, which came out last prison in February 2014. For though it was free from punishment, he was committing a crime such as theft.

          Home residents in the District BTS ULU Musirawas district was subjected to, and managed to bring a number of valuable items.

Then on Thursday (12/18/2014) afternoon, members of the Police Buser Lahat successfully detect its presence. He was in a rented house, which is in Block AA Village Bandar Jaya City District Lahat. After reconnaissance, there were also found three of his colleagues were also included in the list of the police search.

The officer then conducted raids at the rented house, in order to capture all the target. But three people namely F, S and A escaped, allegedly was aware of the police. While Amran who do not have time to escape, suddenly took out a knife. He was reluctant to give up so easily, and attacked police with impunity.

         Police even four times to fire warning shots, so Amran immediately surrender. However, the convict did not care, and keep attacking and trying to escape. Since it is considered dangerous, police officers fired in the direction of his body. So on the back until he collapsed.

Members of the police and brought Amran Lahat General Hospital (Hospital) Lahat, to get treatment. But he actually died, due to blood loss. The police are still pursuing three other actors, which allegedly involved the theft of cars and a crime scene (scene) others.

        Lahat police chief, Superintendent Wira Setya Tri Son through the deputy head of the Police Commissioner Alex explains, Amran is the target of the police and enter the search list.
