
Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Child Protection Agency (LPA) West Nusa Tenggara recorded at least six children in the area are victims of "incest" or intimate relationships within the family / blood due to aberrant behavior of a father.
Case Handling Division members LPA NTB Joko Jumadi in Mataram on Wednesday, said the average of six victims of "incest" is treated by their father since he was a young child.
"In fact, five of the six who are victims each already has one child," he said.
He said his agency is the result of consultation with the victims.
"They've been treated since a kid, even one of the victims receive treatment immoral by her father since she was in grade 5 elementary to college third semester at one of the universities in the city of Mataram," he said.
According to him, the case of the victims of "incest" because conditions in the family, one of which was left by his mother abroad into migrant female workers (TKW).
Result in the mother lived to become migrant workers, he said, making the male parent vent immoral desires to his daughter. Another problem, because the problem of poverty and infrastructure in the house where the victim lived with her parents who only has one bedroom.
"The absence of the mother due to go into migrant workers abroad to be one of the factors resulting in the relationship between the father and his daughter," said Joko.
He said, of the six victims of "incest" in 2014, which monitored the LPA NTB, originating from West Lombok and East Lombok each two persons, Central Lombok and North Lombok each one.
However, Joko said, of six child victims of such cases, only four people whose cases were reported to the police. In fact, from the information, the offender has been convicted in the District Court of Mataram.
"We suspect that in fact such cases is a lot happening in NTB and has been reported to the police, it's just that possibility is not published," he said.
He explained that, if the case of the victims were not reported to the police, because the victims had received the sanction of the social and family environment in which they live, so it is no wonder many of the victims should be "discarded" and expelled from his village.
He added that in 2013 such cases also occurred in NTB, the victim of three people. This means that every year there is an increase.
According to him, this time the victim has received treatment and rehabilitation of child protection agencies with oversight of local government, including the children of the results of the incestuous relationship.
Therefore, he said, it was hoped that such incidents do not happen again in the province, the parents must provide supervision for their children.
"Local authorities including the police should be able to provide protection to the victims and provide just punishment for the perpetrators," he said.
Meanwhile, based on the record LPA NTB, the number of cases of children who are victims of violence and crime in the area, there were 124 people in 2011, then 89 people in 2012 and until the beginning of October 2013 carrying 75 people.
Several cases of children as perpetrators of this violence among abuse, theft and wanton crime. Children who are caught in this case the average still attending junior high and high school.
"The number of cases of violence against children continues to increase from year to year, each district recorded an average of 100 cases per year," he added.
Data from LPA states, cases of violence against children in NTB showed a rising trend that is 103 cases in 2011, rose to 125 cases in 2012 and recorded 122 cases until early October 2013.
