Mud victim compensation, the government purchased assets Lapindo
 
  
           Jakarta. The government will buy the assets of PT Lapindo Brantas in map mudflow affected. Government calculations, Lapindo assets that are within the map affected reaches 20 percent of the total area of the map affected.

Minister of Public Works and Housing, Basuki Hadimuljono, said it has been talking about the process of compensation to victims of Lapindo mud. This asset purchase value reached Rp 781 billion.
       
             

      "The assets in the map affected, the certificates held Lapindo we take," he said when met at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday (8/12).

According to him, the government hopes it will be a capital fund for the company to pay compensation to the victims of the mud. In addition, it also asks Lapindo pay the remaining part that compensation has not been paid.
 
       

            The government plans to take funds from the State Budget (Budget) 2015. The value of assets was estimated at Rp 781 billion. It is the government's interpretation of the decision by the constitutional court regarding the case of Lapindo compensation.
      
      

 Basuki confirms these assets will become the property of the state. The government denied that this policy to help the PT Lapindo Brantas to pay compensation. The scheme will also be set in the presidential decree on the mud weight reduction (BPLS).
